Electronic beats meet Württemberg wine in the vineyards
The Electric Wine Festival is a crossover format that consciously sets itself apart from classic wine festivals. Instead of brass band music and Maultaschen, the festival serves electronic music — Techno, House, and groovy beats — in the vineyards of the Remstal valley above Weinstadt. The venue is Weingut Dobler with its Remstalkino — an open-air area among the vines.
The festival runs Friday, August 14th, from 6 PM to 12 AM and Saturday, August 15th, from 4 PM to 12:30 AM. The event area is mostly flat and partially unpaved; seating areas are distributed across several zones. Little shade — sunscreen and hat recommended.
Weingut Dobler is located in the vineyards above the Remstal valley — one of Württemberg's most important wine regions. Weingut Dobler has been one of the most innovative wineries in the region for years, experimenting with organic wine, late harvests, and crossover events. The Electric Wine Festival is their vision of what wine culture can look like in 2020+ — beyond the clichés of the Stuttgart Wine Village.
The lineup is "TBA" (To Be Announced) — to be published soon. The organizers promise a colorful mix from groovy beats to driving sounds. Known from previous editions: German and international DJs active on Berlin club stages, in Ibiza, and in the electronic scene. Sets are typically 60–90 minutes long, with DJ changes in sundowner mode.
The festival requires tickets — no box office for the general public. Early Bird packages include festival access plus three special edition bottles of wine from Weingut Dobler — limited and only available through the festival. Regular tickets (day or weekend pass) without wine bottles. Bringing your own food and drinks is strictly forbidden — it will be "parked" at the entrance and returned at the exit.
