A Double Anniversary for Maingründel
The Maingründler Festival Days 2026 are celebrating a remarkable double anniversary: The Maingründel Volunteer Fire Brigade is celebrating its 125th anniversary (founded 1885), and the Maingründel Harmoniemusik its 75th anniversary. Both clubs have shaped the village life of Maingründel, a district of Kutzenhausen, for generations.
Four Days of Festival, Brass Music, and Conviviality
For four days, Maingründel transforms into a large festival grounds with a marquee, brass band music, and village conviviality. The programme includes party nights – with bands like the Lumpenbacher and Saustoimusi – festive events, and musical highlights, all presented by the active members of the two anniversary clubs.
Volunteerism and Community
The festival days focus on volunteer commitment and community. With 90 members, the Maingründel Volunteer Fire Brigade is a central pillar of village life; together with the Harmoniemusik, it organises a festival that combines tradition and conviviality.

Maingründel is a district of Kutzenhausen in the Augsburg district in the Bavarian administrative region of Swabia. The double anniversary is a highlight in the event calendar of the Augsburger Land region and an example of vibrant rural club life.

The Maingründler Festival Days 2026 will be celebrated from June 19 to 22 in Maingründel, a district of Kutzenhausen. The occasion is a double anniversary: 125 years of the Maingründel Volunteer Fire Brigade and 75 years of the Maingründel Harmoniemusik.
For four days, a marquee, brass music, and village conviviality will provide the framework. On June 20, the Lumpenbacher will play from 6:30 PM, and the Saustoimusi from 10:30 PM. Further festive events will honour the long history of the two anniversary clubs.
