Neighborhood festival for the whole family on Röthenbacher Hauptstraße
The Eibach/Röthenbach Neighborhood Festival has been a fixture of summer in the southern Nuremberg districts of Eibach and Röthenbach for more than four decades. The festival is organized by the Kulturladen Röthenbach, which is part of the municipal Office for Culture and Leisure (KUF). The venue is Röthenbacher Hauptstraße, which becomes a festival mile for the event.
In the afternoon, coffee and cake under shady oak trees invite visitors to linger, while numerous cheerful dance and music performances by children's and youth groups from the neighborhood take place on stage. Local clubs and organizations present their work, offer culinary specialties from near and far, and organize activities for children. In the evening, a live band rounds off the program.
The neighborhood festival is an expression of lively community spirit: it brings together residents, clubs, and initiatives from Eibach and Röthenbach and strengthens the sense of belonging in the district. The Kulturladen Röthenbach is an important socio-cultural meeting point in southern Nuremberg and shapes the festival with its participatory approach.
