The KulturMühle Buchhagen

The KulturMühle is a heritage-listed grinding mill built in 1867 for the von Hake family, where red sandstone floor tiles were once polished and building components were cut. The cultural association Kaleidoskop e. V., founded in 1998, spent six years restoring the building before opening it as the KulturMühle Buchhagen in the summer of 2008. Since then, it has hosted regular concerts, theater performances, cabaret nights, exhibitions, and workshops.

The KulturMühle is located about three kilometers from Bodenwerder, nestled in the hills between the Weser Cycle Path and the Loccum–Volkenroda pilgrimage route, right next to an Orthodox monastery.
