Sellessen — Sorbian Village in Lusatia
Sellessen (in Lower Sorbian Žełnjov) is a district of the town of Spremberg (Sorbian Grodk) in the Spree-Neiße district. On Saturday, June 28, 2026, starting at 6 PM, the village festival kicks off with the Party Night in the Festival Tent. Program:
- "Skyliners" — Show breakdancers with acrobatic choreography
- "Black Pumps" — Spremberg band with a rock/pop set
- DJ "Ronny Lee" — Dance hits until late at night
Parallel to this, an open-air electronic party with alternative sound will be held at the Sellessen Youth Club — aimed at the younger audience who prefer electronic music to the classic festival tent program.
Sunday, June 29: Family Day
On Sunday, June 29, 2026, starting at 10 AM, the format changes to Family Day. Program:
- Youth football tournament on the sports field
- Vintage car rides for children and adults
- Football darts — a hybrid of football and darts
- Soap bubble activity
- Performances by kindergarten and daycare groups from Sellessen
- Unicycle group with a performance
- Shanty choir with sea shanties (an East German club tradition, also widespread in Lusatia)

The Dorffest Sellessen 2026 will take place on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29 at the Sellessen sports field — a district of Spremberg/Grodk.
Saturday from 6 PM: Party Night in the Festival Tent. The show breakdancers "Skyliners" will open with acrobatic choreography. The Spremberg band "Black Pumps" will play a rock/pop set. DJ "Ronny Lee" will take over for the dance block until late at night. Parallel at the youth club: Open-Air Electronic Party.
