Groß Bölkow is one of the numerous districts of the municipality of Satow, located in the Rostock district between the Hanseatic city of Rostock and the Baltic Sea resort of Bad Doberan. Program

The festival is organized by the Groß Bölkow village community together with the Satow municipal administration (Heller Weg 2A, 18239 Satow). The clubs and volunteer fire departments of the districts regularly participate in setup, catering, and the program.
