The Crown of Equestrianism in the Castle Park

Eventing – internationally also known as Eventing – is considered the most demanding discipline in equestrian sports: riders and horses must excel equally in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country riding. At Gut Hohen Luckow, this "cross-country riding" takes place in an extraordinary setting: in the extensive castle and sculpture park surrounding the listed baroque manor house. The combination of top sport and historic grounds makes the event a highlight of the North German equestrian calendar.

State Championships of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Traditionally, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Championships for Eventing are held on the estate grounds on this May weekend. Competitions are held in several classes – from eventing tests of classes VA and VL to VE, and dressage tests of class A. The vast park and the cross-country course among old trees and sculptures provide a setting for the competition that few other tournament venues in the region can match.

Gut Hohen Luckow

Schloss Hohen Luckow is an imposing baroque building in the municipality of Satow in the Rostock district. The elaborately restored estate from the 17th century is now the center of an actively managed agricultural operation and stands for vibrant monument preservation in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Throughout the year, concerts, farm education days, and equestrian events take place here – Vielseitigkeit im Park is one of the regular fixtures.

Sport, Music, and Gastronomy

Vielseitigkeit im Park is not just a competition, but an equestrian festival for the whole family. With free admission, visitors can follow the cross-country course and the competitions up close. Catering is available on both days, and on Saturday evening, live music is played at the beer garden – the top-class sport is thus given a convivial setting.
