A Festive Evening in Summer

On July 4, 2026, the Pessenburgheim firefighters will open their fire station for the annual village festival. As in previous years, food and drinks will be served from the late afternoon, followed by live music and festive activities in the evening.

The Volunteer Fire Brigade Pessenburgheim hosts its annual village festival at the fire station. Pessenburgheim is a district of the municipality of Holzheim in the Donau-Ries district (Bavarian Swabia, state of Bavaria) and is one of those small villages where the fire brigade, in addition to its core business – fire protection and rescue services – is also a central pillar of social life.
