Overview

The Dorffest of the FFW Pessenburgheim 2025 followed the proven format: a festive evening at the fire station with community catering, live music, and a close connection to the village community. As every year, the firefighters and their partners worked voluntarily to organize the festival.

In 2025, Pessenburgheim residents and guests from the surrounding Holzheim districts gathered again at the fire station. The FFW offered its usual catering: sausages, steaks, beer, along with cake and coffee. Live music provided a convivial atmosphere for the summer evening.

Such village festivals are the invisible infrastructure of social life in Bavaria – they hold communities together, enable investments in equipment and technology (through festival earnings), and preserve intergenerational meeting spaces.
