Tradition for Decades

The Schützengilde Schüttorf is one of the traditional clubs in the southern Grafschaft Bentheim. Schüttorf as a Festival Location

With its historic town center, Schüttorf Castle, and its location on the Vechte river, Schüttorf is one of the most beautiful small towns in the Grafschaft Bentheim. The town center is integrated into the parade on Sunday, and guests often combine the Schützenfest with a stroll through the town or an excursion to the neighboring Bad Bentheim.

Club as Organizer

The Schützengilde Schüttorf organizes the festival on a voluntary basis. Members and friendly clubs are responsible for logistics, shooting competitions, the dance program, and catering. Thus, the festival is also an important point of identification for club life in the city.
