A Village Festival in the Western Allgäu
The Dorffest Aichstetten is the annual summer highlight of the municipality of Aichstetten in the Ravensburg district, directly on the border with Bavaria. Aichstetten is located between Leutkirch im Allgäu and Memmingen in a region characterised by mixed orchards, forests, and small streams – the Württemberg Allgäu in its classic form.
Who Supports the Festival
As is common everywhere in Upper Swabia and the Allgäu, the festival is supported by clubs: The Aichstetten Music Club, the Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Sports Club, and other local groups, together with the municipality, organise the festival programme, catering, and stage.

The festival is a good starting point to also discover the nearby Wurzacher Ried nature reserve or the town of Leutkirch im Allgäu with its historic old town.
Dorffest Aichstetten — edition 2026
The Dorffest Aichstetten 2026 will take place on the weekend of June 13 to 14, 2026, on the village square. Aichstetten is located on the A96 (Munich–Memmingen–Lindau), exit Aichstetten directly off the motorway. Aichstetten train station on the Memmingen–Lindau line, a short walk to the village centre.
