Wine Festival in the Steigerwald Wine Panorama
Dingolshausen is a small municipality in the Schweinfurt district, nestled in the Steigerwald wine panorama in Franconian wine country. Once a year, the village celebrates its wine festival – the Dingolshäuser Weinmomente, still familiar to many as the Köhler-Weinfest. The festively decorated village becomes a meeting point for wine lovers from the region.
Köhler Wine in Focus
The festival revolves around the wines of the local Weingut Loos – from crisp and fresh to full-bodied and characterful. The name 'Köhler' refers to the charcoal burner tradition of the Steigerwald, which is still culturally anchored in the village today. Accompanying the wine are Franconian specialties such as Bratwurst, Fischsemmeln (fish rolls), Currywurst, and Köhler specialties.
