Cross-border classic car meet at the Rohrbachhalle in the Saarpfalz district
As May approaches its peak, the area around the Rohrbachhalle in St. Ingbert transforms into a showcase of automotive history. At Das Treffen 2.0, classic car owners from Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, and neighboring French Alsace gather — three regions that meet in the tri-border area, sharing their common passion for historic vehicles.
The classic car friends of Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland/Alsace have chosen a manageable concept for their meet: a maximum of 120 vehicles can fit in the main area around the Rohrbachhalle. If there are more registrations, a lottery will be held. This limit ensures a relaxed atmosphere where every vehicle receives attention — not a mass event, but a meet for connoisseurs.
The range is wide: pre-war classics like the Mercedes-Benz 170V, BMW 327, or Bugatti replicas stand alongside icons of the 50s and 60s — VW Beetle, Citroën DS, Porsche 356, Ford Mustang Gen 1. Youngtimers from the 80s and 90s (Golf GTI, Mercedes 190E, Saab 900) are also welcome. Early motorcycles, Vespas, and the occasional tractor complete the picture.
What makes Das Treffen 2.0 special is its atmosphere: Instead of a large stage program, the focus is on expert discussions, mechanic talk, and shared meals. Local gastronomy provides participants and visitors with Saarland specialties — Lyoner with fries, Schwenker (grilled pork neck), salads. Free admission for spectators.
The first meet in 2025 was a complete success — the organizers speak of a “very successful meet” that deserves a second chapter. For the 2026 edition, an increased number of registrations is expected — the registration deadline for participating drivers is March 28, 2026.
The 2026 edition starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Entry for participating vehicles from 9 a.m. A maximum of 120 vehicles can fit in the main area — if there are more registrations, a lottery will be held. Unassigned spots will be reassigned starting at 10 a.m.
Registrations are made individually via email with a completed registration form (registration deadline March 28, 2026). Group registrations are not accepted.
