The 2026 edition is confirmed on queer-oriented portals csd-termine.de and by LGBTQ+ Rosenheim itself: Saturday, June 6, 2026, 12 PM to 6 PM, Mangfallpark-Süd, motto »Real People«.
Programmatically, CSD Rosenheim combines a political demonstration with a stage and community program. The festival lawn will host stands from queer associations in Upper Bavaria (LSVD, ProQuote, Aidshilfen, queer youth organizations), awareness teams will ensure safe spaces, and food and drinks will come from solidarity sources. CSD in Southern Upper Bavaria
The Christopher Street Day Rosenheim is the most regionally significant Pride event between Munich and Salzburg, serving the entire Southern Upper Bavaria – from Chiemsee to the Bavarian Inn-Salzach region – with its own demonstration for the rights and visibility of LGBTIQ+ people. The organizer is LGBTQ+ Rosenheim e.V., which has been building queer community life in the Upper Bavarian city for years.
Motto 2026: »Real People«
The motto for the 2026 edition is »Real People«. It stands for the demand for recognition of queer people as equal members of society – not a symbol, not an outsider, but real people with real lives. The CSD serves equally as a meeting place and as a clear statement against queer hostility, hate, and exclusion.
Mangfallpark-Süd as the Festival Site
The venue is Mangfallpark-Süd, a central city park at the confluence of the Mangfall and Inn rivers. The park was created in 2010 for the Bavarian State Garden Show and is now one of Rosenheim's green meeting points. The festival lawn in Mangfallpark-Süd will feature a stage, stands from queer associations, information booths, catering, and safe spaces.
LGBTQ+ Rosenheim e.V.
The organizing association LGBTQ+ Rosenheim e.V. – »Your association for queer life in Rosenheim« – maintains its own community life with three regular meetings: the queer regulars' table every first Tuesday of the month at 7 PM at »Hans im Glück«, the queer bar night on the fourth Wednesday at »Party Oim«, and the »Queer Treff« for young people up to 27 years old at »Blackbox«. Workshops, lectures, and a safe-space café for young people complement the annual program. The CSD is the social highlight of this association year.
Rosenheim – Southern Upper Bavaria
Rosenheim, with around 64,000 inhabitants, is located on the Inn river between Munich and the Austrian Salzkammergut. As a hub between Munich, Salzburg, and Innsbruck, and as the center of the Upper Bavarian Alpine foothills, it consolidates the queer life of a region often perceived geographically as conservative. The CSD counters this image with an open and committed Pride movement.
