Advent Magic at the Manor Farm
The Christmas market at Ulrichshusen Castle and Estate is one of the most atmospheric Advent markets in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. On the first three Advent weekends, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m., the historic manor farm in the municipality of Moltzow in the Mecklenburg Lake District opens its gates. Nestled in the landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland on Lake Ulrichshusen, a market is created here that deliberately focuses on nostalgia and tranquility rather than hustle and bustle.
Crafts, Art, and Winter Delights
Numerous stalls present baked apples, mulled wine, toys, books, art, and handmade sweaters and furniture. Artisans from the region and beyond showcase their work in the festively decorated, heated festival barn. The scent of cinnamon and gingerbread fills the air, and hearty winter dishes cater to your culinary well-being.
Concerts of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival
Accompanying the market, concerts of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival take place in the barn. The program includes "Baroque Christmas," a performance by the vocal ensemble amarcord, "Jazzy Christmas," and a dramatic reading with actor Dietmar Bär. Thus, a visit to the Christmas market is combined with a high-caliber cultural experience.
