Campus Festival — edition 2026
The Campus Festival 2026 runs from Friday, June 5th, 2:00 PM to Saturday, June 6th, 1:00 AM. Several program zones will be set up on the campus meadow at the New Palace: Main Stage, Workshop Area, Introductory Sports Zone, Family Area, Peoples Plaza, and Food Truck Mile.
Program highlights: creative workshops (screen printing, upcycling, printmaking), introductory sports courses (volleyball, bouldering, ultimate frisbee), live bands until 1 AM, stands from all university initiatives and student councils.

Getting There
Tram 91 or 92 from Potsdam Central Station to the "Schloss Charlottenhof" or "Sanssouci" stop. By car via the A115 (exit Potsdam-Babelsberg). Parking is limited – public transport or bicycle recommended.

Free. Food and drinks available at the stands.

Take the opportunity for a taster session with University Sports – the workshops are free and popular.
University Life Under the Open Sky
The Campus Festival of the University of Potsdam takes place on the campus meadow at Campus I, Am Neuen Palais 10, right next to the baroque New Palace in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sanssouci. An extraordinary setting for an extraordinary festival.
By the University, for the University
The concept is programmatic: the festival is jointly supported by students, staff, and the Center for University Sports. Initiatives, student councils, the Career Service, international programs, sports science, and health management will be represented on the grounds.
Program 2026
The festival runs from Friday, June 5th, 2 PM, to Saturday, June 6th, 1 AM. The program includes creative workshops (printmaking, screen printing, upcycling), introductory sports courses (volleyball, ultimate frisbee, bouldering), live music on the main stage with bands from the university environment, a family area for staff with children, a Peoples Plaza as a meeting space, and initiative stands from the university.
Main Stage and Bands
The main stage features university music groups, student bands, and invited acts from Berlin and Brandenburg. The program focus is on indie, pop, and electronic music. The stage remains active until 1 AM.

The Campus Festival at the New Palace is the university's central summer event – a day that demonstrates how closely science, the city, and the region are connected in the state capital of Brandenburg.
