Four days in the Panzerhalle Tübingen with Lucky Chops from New York, Les Yeux d'la Tête from Paris, and Von Wegen Lisbeth from Berlin
When the Panzerhalle Tübingen comes alive with brass, bass, and stage lights from Wednesday to Saturday in June, one of the most exciting festivals on the Baden-Württemberg concert calendar is underway. From June 24th to 27th, 2026, the International Brass & Pop Festival Tübingen presents four evenings with international acts from New York, Paris, and Berlin, complemented by the Tübingen festival founders' band Sonic Love. The mix of Brass-Funk, French Chanson-Pop, German Indie-Pop, and 70s Glam-Funk-Rock is unique in the German festival calendar — especially in the intimate setting of the Panzerhalle.
Lucky Chops from New York City are among the most successful brass bands in the world today. Known for subway videos with millions of YouTube views, they are now a full-fledged live band with international tours. Their sound: Brass-Funk with New Orleans roots, energetic live show, intense stage presence. Support: Louisiana Funky Butts. Ticket: €45.00.
Les Yeux d'la Tête from Paris bring the “La Vie est Belle Tour 2026” to the Tübingen stage. A French Chanson-Pop band with accordion, trumpets, and guitars — somewhere between Parisian café music, Balkan jazz, and indie rock. A trip to Paris in festival format. Support: Paris Hot Five. Ticket: €39.70.
Von Wegen Lisbeth from Berlin bring the “Strandbad Eldena — Sommertour 2026” to Tübingen. One of the most successful German Indie-Pop bands of recent years — with songs like “Wenn du tanzt,” “Sommer,” “Phil Collins.” Their concert style: charming, melancholic, with great live energy. Ticket: €44.80–€49.95.
Sonic Love from Tübingen are the festival's host band. Their 2026 program: “A Tribute to the iconic Seventies” — a homage to the iconic pop music of the 70s with Glam, Funk, Hard Rock, and Disco. The four Tübingen musicians bring over 150 years of stage experience — a seasoned, energetic concert experience. Support: Buschläufer and Underscore. Ticket: €29.90. Doors open: 5:00 PM.
The Panzerhalle Tübingen is a former industrial hall that has been converted into a concert venue in recent years. The atmosphere is industrial-raw yet acoustically optimized — an ideal stage for brass and pop. The university city of Tübingen, with around 90,000 inhabitants, is located in the Tübingen district in Baden-Württemberg, at the transition from the Swabian Jura to the Neckar valley. The famous old town with punting tours on the Neckar, the Hölderlinturm, and the Eberhard Karls University (one of the oldest in Germany) makes Tübingen one of the most attractive small festival locations in southern Germany.
The 2026 Brassfestival at the Panzerhalle Tübingen presents a particularly international lineup. Four days, four concerts, four genres — from New Orleans Brass-Funk (Lucky Chops) to French Chanson-Pop (Les Yeux d'la Tête) and German Indie-Pop (Von Wegen Lisbeth) to a 70s tribute (Sonic Love). This genre mix is rare in the German festival calendar.
The Panzerhalle, a former industrial hall, offers a special acoustic and atmosphere for the concerts. With a total of four evenings, each featuring a headliner plus support, the festival is manageable, intimate, and concert-focused — not a mass festival vibe, but concentrated concert experiences.
