Eight Remshalden wineries present their wines at [zamma] Geradstetten — wine, talk, and Argentinian grill
When the eight Remshalden wineries present their finest wines in the HofRaum of [zamma] in Geradstetten on a warm July evening, it's not just an ordinary wine festival — it's the annual highlight of Weintheke Remshalden. On Friday, July 3, 2026, from 6 PM to 10:30 PM, you can taste the entire spectrum of Remshalden viticulture in one place — from dry Trollinger to crisp Riesling to promising Spätburgunder. A relaxed, almost familiar atmosphere right in the town.
What makes this event special: All eight Remshalden wineries are present simultaneously — a constellation you'll only find once a year. Participating are:
Each winery operates its own stand with a selection of its best current vintages. You can wander from stand to stand, taste, compare, and chat directly with the vintners.
At 7:30 PM, a moderated talk by a wine ambassador begins, featuring special recommendations, regional anecdotes, and a small guided tasting. Simultaneously, an Argentinian chef crew will be grilling using the Asado tradition: rump steak, chorizo, Provoleta cheese, corn on the cob, empanadas. For non-wine drinkers, there are mocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails. Food service continues until the end of the event.
The HofRaum of [zamma] in Geradstetten is a typical Swabian courtyard with trees, fairy lights, and wooden benches — an intimate setting, far from the mass wine festival vibe. Family-friendly: Children can play on the adjacent playground, and dogs are welcome. You can relax, taste, chat, and discover the full diversity of a small but fine Swabian wine-growing region.
The municipality of Remshalden, with around 14,000 inhabitants, is located in the Rems-Murr district in Baden-Württemberg, in the heart of the Remstal Valley — one of Württemberg's most important wine-growing areas. The eight Remshalden wineries are deeply rooted in local tradition and are among the over 1,000 vintners in the Remstal Valley. The marketing of Remstal wine has a very regional character — many of the best wines do not enter wholesale but are sold directly from the winery. This makes the Weintheke even more valuable.
The Weintheke Remshalden 2026 takes place on Friday, July 3, at [zamma] Geradstetten.
