Back After a Break — BONN-SPIELT 2026

BONN-SPIELT is the largest board game festival in the Bonn-Cologne-Rhine region. After a one-year break in 2025, the festival returns on March 7th and 8th, 2026 — the venue is again the Brückenforum Bonn-Beuel, Friedrich-Breuer-Straße 17. The organizer is FOREVER GAMES GbR, which has been bringing board game enthusiasts together in Bonn for years.

Over 100 Tables, a Game Library, and "Erklärbären"

The concept is simple and brilliant: 100+ game tables are freely available for play, plus an extensive game library where hundreds of titles can be borrowed for free. If you want to test a new game without buying it right away, this is the place to be. And if rules raise questions: the "Erklärbären", trained staff with this charming designation, are always ready to help.

Brückenforum Bonn-Beuel — The Venue

The Brückenforum in Bonn-Beuel is a modern event and conference center directly on the Rhine, within walking distance of the Kennedy Bridge. Several halls, good acoustics, ample space for tables and exhibitors — the ideal setting for a board game weekend. The address Friedrich-Breuer-Straße 17 is easily accessible by public transport and car; parking spaces in the vicinity are limited but available.

The 2025 Break and the Return

A one-year break in 2025 was for organizational reasons — FOREVER GAMES used the year to revise the concept, exhibitors, and program. The return in 2026 is eagerly awaited. The ticket shop has been open since early 2026; early booking is recommended.

Bonn has established itself in recent years as one of Germany's most vibrant board game cities — with several game stores, regular game nights in cafes, and a large community of hobby game designers. BONN-SPIELT is the annual highlight of this scene and the gateway for the entire Rhine region.
