27th Flea Market in Bondorf's town center with Sunday shopping and flea market — trend items, jewelry, leather, and spices
Bondorf, with around 4,700 inhabitants, is a municipality in the Böblingen district (AGS 08115), located in the Heckengäu region north of Tübingen and west of Stuttgart. Economically characterized by several medium-sized industrial companies, culturally by active club life — and the Flea Market is one of the municipality's most important annual events.
The 27th edition of the Flea Market in 2026 continues the decades-long market tradition. The organizer is the Municipality of Bondorf itself; the organizational contact person is Simone Hätinger (Tel. 07457 9393-15). Applications for exhibitors must be submitted annually by March 31st — stall spaces are popular and are allocated early.
A wide trend assortment can be found at the market stalls:
The exhibitors are mainly traveling market vendors from the southern German region, supplemented by local Bondorf vendors and club stalls.
The market is not alone — it forms the main attraction of a broader Sunday event:
The local clubs — sports club, fire department, shooting club, Protestant and Catholic church communities — provide the catering. Swabian classics like bratwurst, Maultaschen, fries, salads, along with draft beer, wine, coffee, and homemade cake. The proceeds go directly to the respective clubs.
The Flea Market follows a typical Swabian Sunday market schedule:
Stalls in the town center open, the first vendors set up their displays. Families from the Heckengäu region come for a leisurely Sunday stroll.
Local clubs start with the grill stand, Maultaschen, and coffee and cake buffet.
The market fills up. Families from Bondorf, Herrenberg, Tübingen, and the Heckengäu region flock to the town center.
Bondorf's shops in the town center and industrial area open. Special offers and promotions during the four shopping hours.
A flea market with private sellers from Bondorf and the surrounding area starts in the industrial area parking lot. Antique enthusiasts often find bargains here.
Last-minute shopping, cake stands, and coffee stations are particularly busy. The first stalls begin dismantling around 4:30 PM.
