From Friday, May 29th to Sunday, May 31st, 2026, the Bocholt City Food Festival will transform Bocholt's city centre — from St.-Georg-Platz to Ravardistraße — into a culinary open-air stage. International food trucks, DJ sets, and live music will accompany the street food marathon. Friday starts at 4:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM. Free admission. The city of Bocholt in the Westmünsterland region is deliberately expanding the city centre area for the festival to set up food trucks, bars, and stages for three days of urban indulgence.

Getting There

Train: Bocholt Station (RE 14 from Dortmund/Essen-Borken-Bocholt), 5 min walk to St.-Georg-Platz. Car: A3 exit Hamminkeln, then B473 towards Bocholt. Also well connected from the Netherlands via the A18/A12.

Westmünsterland Street Food — Three Days in the City Centre

The Bocholt City Food Festival is one of the most dynamic early summer street food events in the western Münsterland. The organizer is the City of Bocholt via Bocholt Marketing. Unlike most street food festivals, it doesn't take place in a single square but extends over several city centre areas — a kind of urban street food axis.
