Three days of open-air with Kamrad, Alexander Eder and Alphaville
The BlueOrange-OpenAir is a three-day open-air festival in Warthausen, a municipality directly north of Biberach an der Riß in Württemberg's Upper Swabia. The organizer and namesake is Volksbank Ulm-Biberach eG — one of the largest cooperative banks in Southern Germany. The festival has only been running in this format for a few years (since 2023, 2026 marks the 4th edition) and has established itself as a compact, high-quality format with clearly defined headliner evenings.
The 2026 program brings together three very different headliners:
Each evening features its own supporting program. Admission starts at 5 PM, concerts begin at 7:30 PM — compact festival days that can be easily combined with a day trip in the region.
The festival offers two price tiers: the standard price and a discounted Volksbank customer price. For Kamrad (July 3rd): €59 regular, €39 for Volksbank customers. For Alexander Eder (July 4th): €65 / €45. For Alphaville (July 5th): €69 / €49. There is a 3-day fan pass with extras, as well as discounted family tickets for Volksbank customers.
Warthausen is located directly on the Stuttgart–Aulendorf–Ulm railway line and is reachable by train from Ulm or Biberach in just a few minutes. The festival grounds are at Bahnhofstraße 6 — a few steps from Warthausen station. The Volksbank operates two Park & Ride parking lots (P1, P2) with a free shuttle service, and travel by public transport is well-supported via the DING network. The festival grounds themselves offer a limited selection of food and drinks — a large festival tent and an open-air area, depending on the weather.
Three evenings, three headliners: The BlueOrange-OpenAir 2026 focuses on clearly separated concert days, each with a main act and a fitting supporting program. The organizer is Volksbank Ulm-Biberach eG, which launched the festival as a customer event in 2023 and has been expanding it annually since then.
