Festival in the Village
The Biberttal Festival is an example of the vibrant Franconian DIY festival culture: a three-day festival in the middle of Andorf, a district of Dietenhofen with 130 inhabitants in the Ansbach district. The valley of the small river Bibert gives the festival its name. The organizer is Monkey Business.
Rock, Punk, Stoner
Musically, the festival operates in the realm of Rock, Punk, and Stoner, with a broad, "colorfully mixed" program. Characteristic is the blend of established bands from the German-speaking scene and a strong contingent of regional newcomers – the festival also sees itself as a stage for the Franconian emerging talent scene.
Whitsun in Andorf
The festival traditionally takes place on the Whitsun weekend, from Friday to Sunday. In 2026, Dritte Wahl, Deine Cousine, From Fall to Spring, Kellerkommando, April Art, and Le Fly are among those scheduled to perform – a cross-section of German-speaking Rock and Punk.
Character
Despite its growth, the Biberttal Festival has retained the character of a family-friendly festival supported by the region: manageable, well-organized, with camping and a program that takes both big names and small bands equally seriously.

Getting There
Andorf is located about 15 km north of Ansbach, a district of Dietenhofen in the Ansbach district. Access via country roads from Ansbach or Neustadt an der Aisch. A camping area is usually offered for festival guests.
