Berlin Transformation Festival for Business, Science, and the Creative Industries at Festsaal Kreuzberg
The BAM! Festival (short for „Bock auf Morgen“) is a young Berlin conference format — not a classic business forum, not a classic festival area, but a hybrid of both. The focus is on the question of how German companies, research, and the creative industries can sustainably transform their business models and structures — in the face of the growing climate crisis, the energy transition, and a critical political climate in Germany and Europe.
The 2026 edition will take place from November 4th to 5th, 2026 — a 1.5-day program at Festsaal Kreuzberg on the Spree. Around 500 participants from business, science, the creative scene, and politics are expected. The festival motto is „In Bock we trust“ — a deliberate play on the German idiom „Bock haben“ (to fancy something/to be up for it) in the sense of active willingness to change.
Content-wise, the program is divided into several thematic strands: Sustainable business models, nutrition as a lever for transformation, structural hurdles in German companies, international best practices, climate and energy transition economy, creative industries and innovation. The format is a mix of keynotes, panels, workshops, matchmaking sessions, and sliding-door conversations — consciously less presentation, more interaction.
The venue is Festsaal Kreuzberg, one of Berlin's most famous concert and event halls, directly on the Spree at Flutgraben (Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district, bordering Alt-Treptow). The venue is otherwise known for concerts, indie-pop evenings, and club nights — its selection as a conference venue marks BAM!'s intention to move classic business formats out of their usual conference hotels and into a creative, atmospheric space.
Behind the festival is the initiative „Bock auf Morgen“, which promotes Berlin as an innovation location for sustainable business transformation. Event formats take place year-round; the festival is the annual highlight. In the federal state of Berlin, in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district, BAM! positions itself as a bridging format between Berlin's start-up ecosystem, established businesses, and science.
The BAM! Festival 2026 is the next annual edition of the Berlin transformation festival by the „Bock auf Morgen“ initiative. Over 1.5 days, the festival brings together around 500 representatives from business, science, the creative industries, and politics at Festsaal Kreuzberg. Focus: How can sustainable business transformation succeed in Germany — viable, ambitious, and across ideological divides? Program items on nutrition as a transformation lever, structural hurdles, and best-practice cases complement the keynotes; matchmaking sessions create direct exchange between companies, start-ups, and science.
