West Coast Swing at an International Level

The Augsburg Westie Station is one of the most established West Coast Swing festivals in Germany. Organized by Hep Cat Club Augsburg, it is an official WSDC Registry Event of the World Swing Dance Council – meaning competition results are internationally ranked and recognized for dancer classification. For four days, the Hep Cat Club near the central station is all about the expressive, improvisation-rich partner dance, West Coast Swing.

Top-Class Instructors

The teaching team consists of internationally renowned figures in the scene, including João Parada and Savana Barreau, Irina Puzanova, Michael Kielbasa, and Daniel Pavlov and Lauren Jones. In workshops, they impart technique, musicality, and style at all levels.

• Jack'n'Jill competitions from Newcomer through Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Allstar to Sophisticated and Masters
• Strictly competitions (Novice/Intermediate, Open) and the new Battle Strictly format
• Pro shows with the invited instructors
• Social dancing on four evenings
• Auditions, preliminaries, and finals throughout the weekend
