About Europe Festival Alsdorf
From September 11 to 13, 2026 (the second weekend of September), Alsdorf will host its traditional Europafest throughout the city center. The city's program honors its partner towns with a variety of events: the mayor kicks things off with the traditional keg tapping on Friday, followed by the opening of the "Austria" photo exhibition. Enjoy the Dreiklang-Party at Annaplatz with fireworks in Annapark, the "Party Tirol" on Saturday from 6 PM, and the grand parade on Sunday at 11 AM, featuring around 1,000 participants. The funfair at Annaplatz, a flea market, and various vendors will be open throughout the weekend. Admission is free.

Alsdorf — A Coal-Mining Town in the Aachen Region
