Edition 2025 — Europe Festival Alsdorf

The Alsdorf Europe Festival 2025 took place, as every year, on the 3rd weekend of September – three days of town festival with barrel tapping, Dreiklang Party, fireworks, and Sunday parade. An established tradition of the medium-sized city near Aachen to honour its European twin towns. Three days of town festival on the 3rd weekend of September to honour Alsdorf's European twin towns. One of the most important town festivals in the Aachen region with a parade, fireworks, and concerts.

The 2025 edition continued the Alsdorf Europe Festival tradition. Barrel tapping on Friday, fireworks on Saturday, parade on Sunday – the tried and tested components.

Friday: Funfair opening at Annaplatz and beer barrel tapping by the Mayor, opening of the photo exhibition "Europe — Identity and Diversity" by the Municipal Photo Club. Saturday: Breakfast at the City Library, Senior Afternoon at the Stadthalle, Dreiklang Party at Denkmalplatz with cover bands and fireworks in Annapark. Sunday: Grand Parade at 11 am with approx. 1,000 participants, all-day stage programme. The AVV campaign "You Celebrate, We Drive" facilitated travel.

Programme

Three days of festivities with barrel tapping, photo exhibition opening, concerts, Annapark fireworks, and a Grand Parade with approx. 1,000 participants.
