About AdieuTristessetival
AdieuTristessetival — edition 2026
AdieuTristessetival 2026
From Friday, July 17, to Saturday, July 18, 2026, Adieu Tristesse e.V. invites you to the new edition of AdieuTristessetival. The 2026 theme — Proprioception — runs like a common thread through the booking, installations, and festival design. The venue, as always, is the former water reservoir site on the western outskirts of Crailsheim, between the districts of Altenmünster and Onolzheim.
Six bands are on the program — all with a clear statement, all outside the mainstream. The festival remains small and curated; the audience is dedicated, the booking consistent. Tickets are available in advance via Rausgegangen and at the local outlets 7180 Bar and Findling in Crailsheim.

AdieuTristessetival — the most important alternative festival in Hohenlohe
The AdieuTristessetival is small, beloved, and curated with the dedication of an association that does what it does not for profit. Organized by Adieu Tristesse e.V., the festival has established itself in just a few years as one of the most important alternative dates in the rural region of Hohenlohe-Franken. The fact that it takes place not in a big city, but in Crailsheim on a former water reservoir site — and that it consciously remains small — is part of its identity.
Festival Motto 2026: “Proprioception”
Each edition carries a conceptual theme. For 2026, it is Proprioception — the so-called “sixth sense,” the perception of one's own body in space, intuition. This theme runs like a common thread through the booking, installations, and festival design. It is no coincidence that a festival aiming to convey so much about body and perception is held in such a physically tangible location: the old water reservoir between Altenmünster and Onolzheim is a place of memory and resonance, an open space among trees and sky.
Line-up 2026 — Brass Rap, Indie, Country, Punk
The 2026 program is spread over two days:
- Friday, July 17 — Admission from 5 PM. Fat Cheeks (Gimbsheim) combine brass section and rap — an unusual, highly energetic mix. Falschgeld (Munich) delivers melancholic indie pop-rock with ironic lyrics. The day concludes with Dead Pioneers, a band that combines punk sound with indigenous storytelling elements from the USA.
- Saturday, July 18 — Admission from 4 PM. ARMANO plays country/blues/Americana with German lyrics. False Lefty is a minimal punk duo. The festival finale is by Engin with German-Turkish indie rock and psychedelic elements.
Crailsheim, Hohenlohe — the Festival City
Crailsheim (around 34,500 inhabitants, Schwäbisch Hall district 08127) is located at the southern end of the Hohenlohe-Franken region. Economically shaped by mechanical engineering (Voith) and food production, the city is rather reserved culturally — making AdieuTristessetival an even more important cultural address. The districts of Altenmünster and Onolzheim are on the western outskirts and are connected via Schwäbische Tunnel-Straße. The former water reservoir site was revived by Adieu Tristesse e.V. after its decommissioning — today it is an open cultural space used not only for the festival but also for smaller concerts and workshops.
Tickets, Advance Sales, and Travel

Prices range from 26 to 54 euros — children and young people up to 16 years old get in free. Parking is available at Altenmünster cemetery, with a short walk to the festival grounds.
