Kerwa in the Market Town of Schopfloch
Schopfloch (Middle Franconia) is a market town in the Ansbach district (AGS 09571), located on the historic Castle Road between Dinkelsbühl and Feuchtwangen. The former synagogue and the Jewish cemetery shape the special history of the place. The tent Kerwa at Corrèzer Platz is one of the key events in the summer festival calendar.

The organizer is TSV Schopfloch. The sports and gymnastics club serves food and drinks in the festival tent with the support of the club family, ensuring that the tent Kerwa is carried on as a community event by the people of Schopfloch. Carousels and stalls are operated by the Roth family.
Program Schedule
A classic tent Kerwa in Schopfloch follows a multi-day schedule: Kick-off on Friday evening with the beer tapping ceremony at 6 p.m. and a band like “Klein & Fein” plus DJ entertainment. On Saturday, there are sports competitions by TSV (typically 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) and a children's program from 3:30 p.m. onwards; in the evening, a local band plays, and honors are awarded. On Sunday, a tent service opens at 10 a.m., followed by a hearty lunch and an afternoon program. Monday traditionally concludes with a communal Frühschoppen (morning pint) breakfast.

Zeltkirchweih Schopfloch — edition 2026
The Zeltkirchweih Schopfloch traditionally takes place on the fourth weekend in August – August 26 to 29, 2022, August 23 to 26, 2024. This suggests a probable date for 2026 from August 21 to 24. The exact date will be confirmed by TSV Schopfloch via the club's website and local posters.
As in previous years, TSV Schopfloch will handle the catering in the festival tent at Corrèzer Platz; the Roth family will operate the carousels and stalls. The beer tapping ceremony takes place on Friday evening, followed by live music, a sports program on Saturday, a tent service on Sunday, and a Frühschoppen breakfast on Monday.

Getting There
Schopfloch is located on the B 25 federal road between Dinkelsbühl and Feuchtwangen. By train via Feuchtwangen or Dombühl on the Crailsheim – Ansbach line.
Admission
Free admission. Food and drinks in the festival tent are served by TSV Schopfloch for a fee. Cake donations for the tent service are welcome; please register via the town hall.
