Live stage for young upcoming bands at the JuNaited youth center
The "Youth Gone Wild" live festivals are a concert series for young people in the Hof district (Bavaria). The district's municipal youth services organize them together with municipalities and youth centers. The goal is twofold: to enable young people to enjoy live music without long journeys and to offer young musicians a vibrant platform to reach an audience and gain stage experience.
In 2026, Naila in the Hof district will be the host for the first time. The venue is the JuNaited youth center at Anger 4. As with all stops, a local team of young people and young adults selects which bands play on their stage – the festival is thus designed by young people for young people.
Parallel to the concert series, there are free workshops for young bands – for example, on sound engineering, vocal, and instrument training – who are working towards performing on a larger stage. The format is financially supported by the Sparkassenstiftung, among others. Thus, "Youth Gone Wild" combines the concert experience with musical development.
Not a commercial mega-event, but an approachable concert at eye level: In the manageable setting of the youth center, visitors experience upcoming bands up close. For many of the performing musicians, it is one of their first real stage moments – authentic, young, and energetic.
On June 19, 2026, the "Youth Gone Wild" concert series will stop in Naila for the first time. At the JuNaited youth center (Anger 4), upcoming bands from the region will perform on a real stage from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. A local team of young people and young adults has selected the performing bands themselves.
The 2026 series includes other dates: Berg (May), Münchberg (June), and Oberkotzau (July). In parallel, the municipal youth services of the Hof district offer free workshops for young bands, financially supported by the Sparkassenstiftung.
Admission is free, entry from 14 years of age.
