The WinterZauber Christmas Market Bad Münstereifel is one of the most atmospheric and longest Advent experiences in North Rhine-Westphalia. From November 20 to December 30, 2026, the historic half-timbered old town of the Eifel city transforms into an illuminated Advent world. The concept: not a classic market square Christmas market with wooden stalls, but a staging integrated into the entire old town — fairy lights in the alleys, illuminated city walls, Advent decorations on every facade.

What sets the WinterZauber apart from other markets is the stage: the medieval old town of Bad Münstereifel with its half-timbered facades, intact city walls, and narrow alleys is one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in the Rhineland. This backdrop is staged as an Advent village for six weeks:

• Fairy lights and Advent decorations in all alleys
• Illuminated city walls and defensive towers
• Culinary stalls: mulled wine, candied almonds, potato pancakes, regional Eifel specialties
