About Weinfest Himmelthal
Weinfest Himmelthal — edition 2026
The Wine Festival at Kloster Himmelthal 2026 will be celebrated on the last weekend of July in the historic monastery courtyard of the monastery founded in 1232 near Elsenfeld. For four evenings, the Rücker vintners will serve fine Franconian wines; the old walls offer a wonderful atmosphere even on hot summer days. In addition, there will be a diverse culinary offering, from cheese cubes to vintner's bread and specialties from the festival caterers. Live bands will play on each of the four evenings – local and nationally known groups with cover songs and their own compositions. When the sun disappears behind the monastery walls, the stage area transforms into a large dance floor. The detailed program will be published in due course.
