Electronics Under Middle Franconian Treetops
The Wild Woods Festival is a two-day open-air festival for electronic music at Sommerkeller Ellingen, in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district of Middle Franconia. Organized by Seemeyerer GbR from Weißenburg, the event has established itself in recent years as a fixture in the Techno and EDM scene between Nuremberg, Munich, and Stuttgart.
2026 Motto: »The Hidden World of Mycelium«
For 2026, the festival stages its grounds as a hidden world of fungi: glowing threads between the trees, a redesigned stage set for the Main and Side Stage, and a food area accessible during the day all embrace the »Wild Wood Mycelium« concept. The Main Stage pulses under the treetops, while the hidden Wood Stage deep in the forest serves as a secret tip for dedicated dancers.
Two Days, Two Styles
Friday is dedicated to Techno and House – with acts like Mathias Kaden, Unstimmig, Paul Schmidpeter, and Psycholyse. Saturday opens up to harder EDM with NEPTUNICA, Gabriel Wittner, Milan Milano, and TOBI VIBES. The opening of the Main Stage has been moved forward in 2026 – starting at 6 PM.
Ellingen and the Sommerkeller
The small town of Ellingen, once the seat of the Teutonic Order, is located between Weißenburg and Pleinfeld. The Sommerkeller, with its old trees, is used several times a year for brewery and music festivals – Wild Woods forms the electronic highlight. Adult festival-goers have access to the entire grounds; the new daytime food area is accessible to all ages.

Two days, two styles, one Sommerkeller: The Wild Woods Festival 2026 stages its grounds as a glowing fungal world with hanging threads between the trees, a Main Stage under the treetops, and a secret Wood Stage deep in the forest. The organizer is Seemeyerer GbR from Weißenburg.
Tickets are available through the festival's official Ditix shop. The daytime food area is also open to families and non-festival guests – the main festival grounds remain accessible to those aged 18 and over.

Ellingen is located in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, approx. 60 km south of Nuremberg. By car via the B2 (Nuremberg–Augsburg). Free parking at the festival.
