Wine and Noble Spirits – The Second Traditional Pillar

Many Nahe wineries have a second pillar in noble spirit production alongside viticulture. Plum, mirabelle, Williams pear, quince, wild cherry, and apple are distilled from their own fruit stocks or from regional partners. At Weingut Dapper, this tradition holds a special significance – the noble spirits are an independent hallmark of the house and are produced with great care.

3-Course Menu with Noble Spirit Tasting

The 3-course menu for the season opener combines the house's wines and noble spirits into a complete sensory experience. The starter, main course, and dessert are accompanied by matching wines, complemented by a noble spirit tasting with various distillates. The spirits are explained in the glass – raw material, distillation process, aging – and analyzed sensorially together. An extension of the classic wine-food pairing into a less-used dimension.

Open Daily for Four Days

Unlike many other season opener formats, Weingut Dapper is open continuously from 12 PM to 8 PM on all four days (Thursday to Sunday). The menu can be booked at different times – for lunch or as dinner. This flexibility makes the format accessible for day-trippers from the Bad Kreuznach area and for overnight guests.

Gutenberg in the Nahe Region

Gutenberg is a small municipality in the northern district of Bad Kreuznach. Its location on the edge of the Nahe Wine Route, surrounded by forests, vineyards, and orchards, makes it a quiet, nature-oriented place to live. During the season opener, Gutenberg, with Weingut Dapper, complements the larger wine villages of the Nahe mosaic.
