The Wein am Stein Festival combines wine culture and live music in one of the most beautiful settings in Franconia: the vineyards of Weingut am Stein high above Würzburg. The organizer is Wein am Stein GmbH, which operates both the winery and the festival here. For several weeks in July, the steep-slope winery becomes the stage for a celebration that brings people, music, and wine together in a special atmosphere.
14 Evenings, Hand-picked Line-up
On 14 festival days, daily changing bands play in the middle of the vines. The program ranges from jazz and soul to pop and funk to fine electronic music and house; in previous editions, artists such as Oliver Koletzki and Mark Tamonea have performed on stage. The panoramic view of Würzburg and Marienberg Fortress makes every concert an experience.
Organic Wines and Cuisine
The focus is on the high-quality, self-produced organic wines from sustainable cultivation in one of Franconia's most renowned vineyard locations, complemented by exquisite cuisine, often prepared fresh on-site. "Best of Festival" packages combine wines and concert tickets, along with table and restaurant packages.

The 2026 edition of the Wein am Stein Festival runs from July 9 to 26, 2026, with 14 festival days at Weingut am Stein in Würzburg.
