Stage is set for the next generation

"Weiden tobt!" is a young band competition that offers a stage and performance experience to young bands from the northern Oberpfalz. Organized by the Weiden Youth Center, the format specifically promotes regional youth culture and networking within the local music scene.

Program and Diversity

Six bands compete against each other in one evening – the musical spectrum ranges from Rock and Indie to Alternative, Deathcore, and Heavy Metal. The diversity of styles makes the competition an exciting concert evening where the audience experiences the region's emerging scene up close.
