Kerwa Tradition in the Aurachtal Valley
The Walsdorfer Kirchweih is one of the fixed dates in the event calendar of the municipality of Walsdorf in the Bamberg district. Supported by the Walsdorfer Kerwas-Burschen and Madla, the festival combines classic Franconian Kirchweih customs with a convivial festive atmosphere for the entire village community.
Kesselfleisch, Tree, and Beer Tapping
The Kerwa traditionally opens with the Kesselfleischessen by the Walsdorf volunteer fire department at the fire station.
