Festival at the Gateway to the Bavarian Forest

Hengersberg is located in the Deggendorf district, at the transition between the Danube Valley and the Bavarian Forest. Every year, TSV Hengersberg 1902 e.V. hosts its Volksfest "Tag der Gemeinde" here – a club festival with a folk festival character on the grounds at Sportplatzweg.

Sport and Conviviality

The sporting kickoff is traditionally a small-sided football tournament in the afternoon. In the afternoon, there is a senior citizens' afternoon with live music, and in the evening, the festival transitions into marquee operations with brass and party music, complemented by the tournament awards ceremony.

Day of the Municipality

As the "Day of the Municipality," the festival focuses on the togetherness of Hengersberg's clubs and citizens. It is a convivial meeting place that makes club life visible and strengthens cohesion in the market town of Hengersberg.
