Train: Völklingen (Saar) station is served hourly by regional trains from Saarbrücken (10-minute journey). Approx. 5 minutes walk to the city center. Car: A620 exit Völklingen-Mitte.

Parking

Multi-storey car parks in the city center (Parkhaus City-Galerie, Parkhaus Sparkasse). Arrival by public transport is recommended due to traffic restrictions during the funfair.

The funfair traditionally opens on Saturday evening at 5 PM with the ceremonial tapping of the first keg by the local district administrator, together with the Lord Mayor and members of the local council.
