Berlin Meeting Point of the Dark Scene

Since the late 1980s, Berlin has been a central hub for the German-speaking Dark Electronic scene—from the early EBM scene to the later Synthpop, Industrial, and Future Pop movements of the 2000s. Unity 2026 is the format that bundles this scene diversity into two days: not a single genre, but the entire spectrum from Dark Electronic to Synthpop to Industrial.

Three Main Attractions on Day 1

The first festival day focuses on three retro-affine headliners: VNV Nation present an old-school set featuring classic tracks from the early 2000s—a deliberate focus on the band's formative years. IAMX play a best-of from their repertoire. And Zeromancer make a special appearance: performing their complete 2000 debut album Clone Your Lover in full—one of the most influential Norwegian Industrial Rock albums. Day 2 expands the program with two other key acts from the scene: Northern Lite and Absurd Minds.

Columbiahalle and Tempelhof-Schöneberg District

The Columbiahalle on Columbiadamm in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district (on the border of Kreuzberg) is one of Berlin's central event venues with a capacity of around 3500. It's located directly next to Tempelhof Airport, within walking distance of the U-Bahn station Platz der Luftbrücke and the Südkreuz S-Bahn station. The festival is organized by Headline Concerts—one of the most important German concert promoters for Dark Electronic productions.
