A New Festival Format for Rostock

"Und drinnen tanzt der Bär" celebrates its premiere as a weekend festival in the Stadthalle Rostock in October 2026. The organiser ME-Events is expanding an already established party concept into a two-day indoor festival that fills the cool season in the independent city of Rostock with music and dance. The Stadthalle on Südring, one of the largest event locations in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, provides the fitting setting for this.

Two Nights Full of Music

On both festival days, October 16th and 17th, 2026, the hall will open its doors in the evening. Captivating sounds, great anthems, and different genres merge into an experience that carries guests through the entire weekend. The programme focuses on a continuous mix of danceable classics and current hits, ensuring the dance floor never has a dull moment.

Schedule and Atmosphere

Admission is from 7:00 PM on both days, and the party goes on until the early morning hours. The Stadthalle transforms into a large party area for the festival with professional lighting and sound technology. Admission is permitted for ages 16 and over when accompanied by a parent or guardian or with a "Muttizettel" (parental consent form).

Tickets and Travel

Both day tickets and weekend tickets are available for the festival, allowing guests to flexibly attend one or both evenings. The Stadthalle Rostock is conveniently located on Südring and is easily accessible by car as well as by bus and tram lines of Rostocker Strassenbahn AG. Sufficient parking spaces are available around the hall.

Rostock as a Festival City

With "Und drinnen tanzt der Bär", Rostock is expanding its event offerings with an indoor festival in autumn. While the Hanseatic city is known for its numerous open-air parties at the city harbour and in Warnemünde during the summer, this format brings the festival feeling into the cold season and complements the region's event calendar.
