Once a year, the Traunreut City Festival transforms the entire city center of the Upper Bavarian town of Traunreut (Traunstein district) into a lively festival mile. Local bands and artists perform on several stages around Rathausplatz, covering everything from traditional brass music to rock and pop. Numerous food and drink stalls offer regional and international specialties, alongside hands-on activities. In 2026, the City Festival will take place on Saturday, July 11th, from 3:00 PM to midnight – admission is free.
