Germany's largest model tractor show — 21st edition
Since its first edition in 2006, the Traktorado has grown to become undisputed Germany's largest model tractor show — a one-day specialist fair held annually in mid/late October in the halls of Messe Husum & Congress. The 21st edition on October 18, 2026, confirms the format as the most important industry event for agricultural technology model building in the German-speaking world.
The spectrum of the exhibition is broader than the name suggests — in addition to model tractors in the narrower sense, the following are shown:
Approximately 100 exhibitors present their models — a mix of specialist dealers, professional model builders, one-man workshops, and private collectors. Most exhibitors sell directly on-site, giving the Traktorado a market character in addition to its showcase function. Those looking for a specific brand or a rare model often find a source here. The event is a must for collectors.
The Traktorado is not just for specialists — families with children are also an important target audience. The fascination of agricultural technology in scale 1:32 starts young: Children who receive their first model tractor under the Christmas tree often come to the Traktorado for years with their parents or grandparents. Agricultural technology professionals (farmers, mechanics, dealers) also attend — as hobby collectors or simply out of professional interest.
Husum is a district town in Nordfriesland in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the seat of the district. The town is located directly on the North Sea Wadden Sea. The Messe Husum & Congress is one of Schleswig-Holstein's most important trade fair venues — known for Husum Wind, among others (one of Germany's oldest wind energy trade fairs). The Traktorado benefits from its central location between Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and the Danish border — collectors from all over northern Germany and the Netherlands travel for the day.
The 21st Traktorado Husum once again offers the usual showcase of the model tractor industry: approx. 100 exhibitors in the exhibition halls, models in scales 1:16 and 1:32 in full breadth, from John Deere and Fendt replicas of current generations to rare historical models.
In addition to the pure model exhibition, the Traktorado offers:
