Inclusive, intergenerational dance festival at Rechenzentrum Potsdam — fourth edition
The association tanzparcours e.V. is a long-term artistic initiative at Rechenzentrum Potsdam, dedicated to the participatory, inclusive, and intergenerational development of contemporary dance. The fundamental assumption: "The individual dance potential of every person is a valuable human, artistic, and societal resource." The association creates spaces for performative encounters — and believes that every such encounter expands individual and collective dance vocabulary.
Artistic direction is by Kathi, Ludovic, and Eléa Fourest. tanzparcours e.V. offers regular courses, international projects, stage performances, and professional training at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) and the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). The Trac# festival is one of the association's key events.
The 2026 edition is the fourth iteration of the festival (hence the name "Trac#4"). The festival is designed as a platform for inclusive dance art — dancers of all age groups, with and without physical or mental disabilities, professional and amateur performers jointly develop performances. The program structure typically includes several days with workshops, performances, open stage formats, and public choreography processes.
Trac#4 is one of the 15 festivals supported by the Festival Funding 2026 of the State Capital Potsdam (out of 18 applications). This has made the festival one of the recognized pillars of the Potsdam festival scene — alongside the Localize Festival, Rock am Löschteich, PACE Festival, intersonanzen 26, and the 15th Afrika Festival Potsdam/Brandenburg.
The Rechenzentrum Potsdam on Dortustraße is a former GDR administrative building that has housed creative professions since 2015 — one of Brandenburg's most prominent creative hubs. tanzparcours e.V. is part of this community. The exact date of Trac#4 2026 will be announced by the association in the summer of 2026.
The 2026 edition is being prepared — the festival has received funding approval from the State Capital Potsdam.
