Rechenzentrum Potsdam — GDR administrative building becomes creative hub

The Rechenzentrum Potsdam on Dortustraße is a former GDR administrative building that has housed creative professions since 2015 — studios, workshops, galleries, event spaces. It is located about a 15-minute walk from Potsdam Main Station and is home to numerous artist, musician, and designer groups, as well as event formats like the PACE Festival, the Trac#4 dance parcours, and the NU:SUB series.

Triptych Program 2026

The PACE Festival 2026 continues the triptych concept tested in previous years: exhibitions, performances, and DJ sets/concerts are spread across three festival days. The program structure allows different types of visitors to feel welcome — art enthusiasts during the day, music fans in the evening, the festival community during the after-hours program. Organizer is Xenorama Production GmbH.

Festival Funding 2026 — Recognition as a cultural format

The PACE Festival is among the 15 festivals that have received funding for 2026 from the State Capital Potsdam (selected from 18 applications). Co-funded festivals include Localize Festival, Rock am Löschteich, Trac#4 Tanzparcours, FIESTA TOTALE, intersonanzen 26, and the 15th Afrika Festival Potsdam/Brandenburg.

In the State of Brandenburg and the State Capital Potsdam

Potsdam, with its approximately 184,000 inhabitants, is Brandenburg's largest city and has been one of the state's most active festival centers for years. The PACE Festival complements a broad festival landscape, ranging from classical formats (Musikfestspiele Sanssouci) to experimental series. The 2025 edition ran from October 24th to 26th.
