On Thursday, July 23, 2026, one of Germany's most successful live acts comes to Mosbach: The BossHoss will play their open-air concert in the Großer Elzpark of this northern Baden city. The concert is part of the „Back to the Boots Live Summer 2026” tour and simultaneously the highlight of the Mosbacher Sommer 2026 — the city's open-air concert series held between July and early September.

The BossHoss — Seven Berliners Who Redefined Country Rock

The Berlin band The BossHoss was founded in 2004 and has been a fixture in the German music scene ever since. The frontmen are Alec „Boss Burns” Völkel and Sascha „Hoss Power” Vollmer, who have shaped the band's trademark Stetson hat look. With their unique blend of country, rock, and pop cover versions (from „Hot Stuff” to „I Say a Little Prayer”), they regularly fill open-air stages across Germany.

With around 24,000 inhabitants, Mosbach is the district capital of the Neckar-Odenwald district and lies at the gateway to the Odenwald, at the confluence of the Elz and Neckar rivers. The historic old town with its famous half-timbered town hall, market square, and collegiate church is considered one of the most beautiful in Southern Germany. Mosbach is a starting point for hikes in the Odenwald and along the Castle Road — the nearby Hornberg Castle (Götz von Berlichingen's castle) is one of the region's best-known destinations.
