Kärwa in the Frankenwald
The Kärwa – the dialect form of Kirchweih in the Frankenwald – has been a fixed part of the annual calendar in Teuschnitz for generations. It is celebrated in October and is supported by the local sports club TSV Teuschnitz with the traditional Kärwa Saturday. This combines the church's patron saint's day with vibrant club life.

The highlight is TSV Teuschnitz's Kärwa Saturday: The club invites you to music, dancing, and Franconian hospitality. In previous years, the day began with a football match in the afternoon, followed by the Kärwa celebration in the evening.
