Autumn Streetfood Festival on Königstraße in the heart of Duisburg
While streetfood festivals typically take place in spring and summer, autumn streetfood events prove that the format works year-round. From October 16th to 18th, 2026, EnMa Deutschland UG (Streetfood Agency) is organizing the Street Food & Music Festival Duisburg on Königstraße in the heart of Duisburg's city center. With food trucks, bars, live music, and a covered atmosphere — on the pedestrian zone — the festival offers all the amenities of the classic streetfood season even in autumn.
Königstraße is Duisburg's central pedestrian zone, connecting the main train station with the inner harbor. With its shops, cafés, and covered arcades, it's an ideal festival stage — food trucks will be set up along the street, and seating areas in the inner courtyards offer protection from rain. Stretching over 1 kilometer, Königstraße provides ample space for about two dozen food trucks and several bars.
EnMa Deutschland UG works with established food truck partners from across the Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine region. Expect food trucks offering classic BBQ and streetfood (pulled pork, burgers, tacos), international cuisines (Asian wok dishes, Mediterranean specialties, Ghanaian streetfood), vegetarian-vegan alternatives, as well as sweet treats (crêpes, donuts, ice cream) and autumnal specialties (pumpkin soup, roasted chestnuts).
DJ sets, acoustic live acts, and small cover bands will alternate on the central stage. Compared to EnMa's streetfood festivals in other cities, the music program is deliberately compact — Königstraße offers little space for a large stage, but plenty for the food truck experience atmosphere.
The streetfood agency run by Engin Ulupinar (Goch on the Lower Rhine) specializes in streetfood festivals throughout western NRW. With events in Oberhausen, Duisburg, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, and other cities, the agency is a key player in the Ruhr area/Lower Rhine streetfood scene. Expected visitor numbers for the Duisburg October 2026 edition: approx. 8,000.
Duisburg (around 500,000 inhabitants) is located on the western edge of the Ruhr area, where the Rhine and Ruhr rivers meet. Known for Europe's largest inland port, the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord (blast furnace industrial monument), and the 2010 Loveparade history, Duisburg is a city with a complex identity. Königstraße, as the city center's main axis, has developed into a vibrant shopping and event street following extensive urban renewal measures.
The October 2026 edition takes advantage of the late summer weather in early October for a streetfood festival in the middle of Duisburg's city center. Three days on Königstraße — Duisburg's main axis from the main station to the city center — offer curated food truck experiences and compact music programs.
Exact daily opening hours will be finalized on food-festivals.com.
Free admission to the festival. Food and drinks at food truck prices (typically €7–€14 per dish). Cocktail bar with separate pricing.

Use the Stadtbahn (light rail) lines 901, 902, or 903 to all city districts. By car via the A 40 (exit Duisburg-Stadtmitte) — parking garages available in the city center.
