Getting there

Strausberg is reachable by S-Bahn line S5 from Berlin Hauptbahnhof in approx. 40 minutes (S-Bahn station Strausberg). Accessible by car via the B1/B5; parking spaces around Fichteplatz and the Theodor-Fontane-Gymnasium.

A Century of Running Tradition

The Strausseelauf was first held in 1924, making it one of the oldest continuously held running competitions in Eastern Germany.
