Edition 2025 — Strausseelauf
The 89th Strausseelauf 2025 continued the centuries-old tradition of the run around the Straussee. Hundreds of participants started on German Unity Day from the Theodor-Fontane-Gymnasium and ran through Strausberg's old town to the Altstadtfest.
The 89th edition in 2025 was once again successful: from the Bambini run to the half marathon, all distances were well attended. The KSC Strausberg managed the organization with many years of routine — registration, timing, and catering went smoothly. The parallel Altstadtfest tradition ensured that accompanying persons also had an entertaining day in Strausberg. The success set the stage for the 90th anniversary in 2026.
